Alcoholic Drinking Night also known as Monday Night Football
As an Alcoholic in recovery, I can only speak from my own experience and the experiences of my Alcoholic friends. When I was an active Alcoholic drinking daily, Monday Night Football was a blessing. It was a night during the week I could go out and drink alcoholic beverages, drink beers, and drink some more. It was a weekday, Monday, and I could drink 10 – 12 beers while watching the football game with my friends in the local sports bar and get as drunk as I wanted to. No one seemed to mind or care because they were drinking too. The normal football fan was watching the game and having one beer for every three beers that I drank. That is what Alcoholic drinking is, drinking as much as you can and drinking as fast as you can so you can get good and drunk.
Monday Night Football Drinking Beer all Night
Monday Night Football gave me the perfect excuse I needed to go out on a weekday and get completely drunk. I would be with my friends and drink beer after beer while watching the football game. To someone who is not an Alcoholic, they simply don’t think that way. They may go out to meet friends and watch the game and have a couple beers while the game is on the television at their favorite bar. But for the Alcoholic drinker and the Alcoholic mind-set, Monday Night Football was a great opportunity to go out on a weekday and drink alcoholic drinks from early evening till the bar closes.
So please remember if you are out there on the roads driving late tonight on Monday night, that there have been alcoholic drinkers in the bars all evening getting very drunk. These alcoholic drinkers have been enjoying the game and enjoying their friends but mainly enjoying their alcohol. Be it beer, shots of hard liquor, or other alcoholic beverages, Monday Night Football offers the perfect excuse for the Alcoholic to go out on the town and get good and drunk.
